Questions

Before you book

Yes, on private hire. Bring your own board and use it during your booked time. Paddleboards are not available on shared sessions.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on private hire. Please keep them on a lead around the estate and out of the sauna itself, and clear up after them. Dogs cannot attend shared sessions.

Windermere is a few steps from the sauna. If you'd rather stay out of the lake, the cold plunge and outdoor shower are there for cooling off.

Shared sessions seat up to six people. Private hire is for up to eight people in total, including anyone on the shore who isn't using the sauna.

Shared session places are booked individually, so you may share Hide with guests you haven't met. If you'd prefer the space entirely to yourselves, choose private hire.

Heat and cold water aren't right for everyone. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition or any other medical concern, please seek medical advice before your visit. Health guidance and the waiver are shown when you book.

Shared sauna sessions are for guests aged 16 and over.

Children under 16 are welcome to join a private sauna session, provided they are accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Children are more sensitive to heat than adults, so we recommend shorter spells in the sauna, regular breaks and plenty of water.

For safety, children should never be left unattended in or around the sauna, lake or cold plunge.

Our booking and cancellation terms are shown when you book. If you need to change a booking, email hello@hidesauna.co.uk and we'll do our best to help.
